Intramuros
Ang Intramuros, na matatagpuan sa timog ng Ilog Pasig, ay ipinatayo ng mga Kastila noong ika-16 na siglo at ang pinakamatandang distrito ng Maynila, ang kabisera ng Pilipinas. Ang pangalan na Intramuros ay nangangahulugang "nagsasanggalang na pader", na tumutukoy sa kuta o lungsod na napapalibutan ng pader. Noong kapanahunan ng mga Hispano, ang Intramuros ay ang mismong Maynila. Ito ay sinira ng mga Hapones sa dahilang ito ay ang pinakamagandang parte ng Maynila, muling inayos noong Hunyo 16, 1952.
